Copy General Ledger Accounts
Use the Copy General Ledger Accounts routine to create one or more new Accounts by copying the information from existing Accounts. You can copy groups of Accounts by specifying an Account Element as the Source. This is a convenient method for adding many accounts at once, for example, when you need to add a division to the company. A status report prints when the routine finishes.
Tips:
The copy routine sometimes seems to pause for several minutes at a time while processing the data.
