Extract Interim Consumption

Use Extract Interim Consumption to go through interim history for a date range, accumulate the usage, and divide it by the number of billing periods.  The results are stored in the location_connection_history_usage table (LCHU) and can then be used by a process like the Meter Import along with a Consumption import type to create billing transactions.  A list of customers who are pulled in the workfile is generated.

The location_connection_history_usage table (LCHU) also stores regular usage history from billing posts.  Interim history can seen from several places - the Import Interim Reading using the meter import type, you can manually add them in the Read History view, probably some billing transactions, and there is an add interim read wizard, which works in the same as the Read History view.  Extract Interim pulls data from there and stores it in UBCONS, and there are a few meter import types that either put data into UBCONS, or pulls data from UBCONS, or creates these LCHU interim records.
