Field Description - Rate Class ID

The Rate Class ID is the key field that uniquely identifies the rate class information.  Rate classes are user-defined classifications for the different types of customers you may have.  Rate Classes are informational and can be used to analyze and group customers for reporting purposes.

Example Rate Class IDs:  

• 01 for Residential

• 02 for Commercial

• 03 for Industrial

• 04 for Municipal or Fire

Where-Maintained:  Class Maintenance

Where-Used:   Create Customer Wizard at the Create Customer Step 5 Window.

Format:  2.0 numeric, Required.
