Field Description - Customer ERU/EDU

The ERU/EDU contains an amount that can be used as a multiplier when calculating the customer's charges, if the Transaction Code for this customer’s charge is set accordingly.  ERU/EDU can be used for a special fee assessed to wastewater treatment plant users and sometimes to septic system users.

Notes:

• Generally, leave blank unless directed by NDS Technical Support.

• The ERU/EDU calculation may use the customer Rate Class, ERU Type and the table ubwread.

• The Transaction Code's Calculation Type must be set to ERU for the ERU/EDU to be included in calculating the customer's charge.
