Field Description - Finance Period ID

The Finance Period ID is the key field that identifies the Finance Period information.  Finance periods are used to group customers together for period end aging and for processing finance charges, past due notices, shut off notices and liens.

Notes:

• A customer's aging fields and finance charge calculations are affected by the Finance Period ID.

• NDS recommends that you assign a specific Finance Period ID to each book number you maintain and give them a one-to-one relationship.
