Deposit Calculation Maintenance

Use Deposit Calculation Maintenance to maintain information that controls interest calculations for customer deposits.

Notes:  

• For more information on deposit interest and the interest calculation, see Customer Deposits.

• Deposit interest can not be calculated if this maintenance has not been set up.

• For more information about working with data in fields, see Data Entry Guidelines.

• Opening Deposit Calculation Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Code Maintenance.

  4.  Click Miscellaneous Maintenance.

  5.  Click Deposit Calculation Maintenance.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [c] [i] [c].

• Creating the new Deposit Calculation, click More.

   

  Tip:  To indicate that you are building a new Deposit Calculation, New  displays near the UBDEPOSIT table name.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.

  Deposit Calculation Maintenance Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER] if the button is in focus. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	The Search function is not available during Deposit Calculation Maintenance.
  	To display an existing Deposit Calculation, click Retrieve, or press [ENTER] if the button is in focus. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Title	Enter the title for this table as Deposit Interest. (up to 14 characters)
  Description	Enter the description as Deposit Interest Calculation information. (up to 79 characters)
  Deposit Interest Calculation %	Enter the deposit interest rate used to calculate interest on deposits. (7.7 numeric)
  Days in the Calculation Year	Enter the days in this calculation year. (3.0 numeric)
  Calculation Type	To select a Calculation Type, click a choice in the drop-down list.

   

• Editing the existing Deposit Calculation, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  2.  Enter the data changes.

  3.  To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]

   

• Deleting the existing Deposit Calculation, click More.

   

  Note:  The Delete command is not available during Deposit Calculation Maintenance.
