Monthly Calendar Maintenance

Use Monthly Calendar Maintenance to specify the months that make up a period of time.  You can assign a Monthly Calendar to backflow devices to specify when the devices should be tested.

• Opening Monthly Calendar Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Code Maintenance.

  4.  Click Miscellaneous Maintenance.

  5.  Click Monthly Calendar Maintenance.

• Creating a Monthly Calendar, click More.

   

  Monthly Calendar Maintenance Prompts
  Monthly Calendar ID	To create a new Monthly Calendar enter the new Monthly Calendar ID (up to 20 characters) and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t] Tips: Or, enter the new Monthly Calendar ID and click File from the Menu; next click New. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [n] To indicate that you are building a new Monthly Calendar, New  displays near the Monthly Calendar ID.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information. To view all of the existing Monthly Calendars, click Search .  From the Search list you can select the record to change or delete.
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  Title	Enter the title associated with the Monthly Calendar. (up to 20 characters)
  Description	Enter the full description associated with the Monthly Calendar. (up to 40 characters)
  January - December	To assign the months to the monthly calendar, click to select the desired month to include in this calendar.

   

• Editing a Monthly Calendar, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1.  To display the record to be changed, enter the Monthly Calendar ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  
  Tip:  If you do not know the Monthly Calendar ID, you can click Search  to see a list of Monthly Calendars.

  2.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  3.  Enter the data changes.

  4.  To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].

• Deleting a Monthly Calendar, click More.

   

  1.  To display the record to be deleted, enter the Monthly Calendar ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Tip:  If you do not know the Monthly Calendar ID, you can click Search  to see a list of Monthly Calendars.

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
