Credit Rating Scale Maintenance

Use Credit Rating Scale Maintenance to maintain the credit rating scale for your facility including the different levels for customer credit ratings, the descriptions of the levels, and the corresponding minimum credit score that your customers can have for the level.

• Generally, once the Credit Rating Scale is set you do not have to maintain again unless you change the credit rating system for your facility.

• Opening Credit Rating Scale Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu.

  2.  Click Credit Rating.

  3.  Click Credit Rating Scale Maintenance.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [i] [ARROW] [ARROW].

• Creating a New Credit Rating Scale record, click More.

   

  Tip:  To indicate that you are building new Credit Rating Scale, New  displays near the Rating Scale name.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.

  Credit Rating Scale Maintenance Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	Tip:  Search is not available during this maintenance.
  	To display the existing Credit Rating Scale, press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Active Levels	To assign the number of customer credit rating levels, click a choice in the drop-down list.
  Credit Level 1-10 Note:  For each credit level, assign the Description and the Minimum score to achieve that level.
  Description	Enter the description for this credit rating level. (up to 20 characters)
  Minimum	Enter the minimum credit score the customer must have to achieve this credit rating level. (3.0 numeric)

   

• Editing an Existing Credit Rating Scale record, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1.  To display the record to be changed, simply open Credit Rating Scale Maintenance.  The record automatically displays.

  2.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  3.  Enter the data changes.

  4.  To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].

• Deleting an Existing Credit Rating Scale record, click More.

   

  1.  To display the Credit Rating Scale record to be deleted, simply open Credit Rating Scale Maintenance.

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
