Past Due Parameter Maintenance

Use Past Due Parameter Maintenance to maintain the Past Due Parameter information for processing Past Due notices.  During this maintenance you can specify whether or not to process multiple services during the past due process.

Tips:  

• Once the past due parameter information is set, you do not usually need to change it.

• Opening Past Due Parameter Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu.

  2.  Click Past Due.

  3.  Click Past Due Parameter Maintenance.

• Creating a past due parameter, click More.

   

  Past Due Parameter Maintenance Prompts
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	Note:  Search is not available during this routine.
  Title	Enter the title of the Past Due Parameter record. (up to 20 characters)
  Description	Enter the full description associated with the Past Due Parameter record. (up to 40 characters)
  Past Due Information
  Multi-Service Balance	Note:  This field is reserved for future use.
  Multi-Service Transactions	To consider all services for each customer in the past due process, click Yes in the drop-down list. To limit services to those specified during the Past Due Create Workfile routine, click No in the drop-down list.

   

• Editing a past due parameter, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1.  To display the record to be changed, click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]

  2.  Click the field to change and then enter the data changes.

  3.  To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]

   

• Deleting a past due parameter, click More.

   

  1.  To display the record to be deleted, click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete .
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
