Past Due Service Parameter Maintenance

Use Past Due Service Parameter Maintenance to maintain certain Past Due Parameters for each service you have.  You can specify the Billing Transaction Profile that contains the transaction codes to generate customer late charges for the service.

Tips:  

• Once the past due service parameter information is set, you do not usually need to change it.

• Opening Past Due Service Parameter Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu.

  2.  Click Past Due.

  3.  Click Past Due Service Parameter Maintenance.

• Creating a Past Due Service Parameter, click More.

   

  Past Due Service Parameter Maintenance Prompts
  Service ID	Enter a defined Service Code as the Service ID click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].. (2.0 numeric) Or, to look for an existing past due service parameter record, click Search .  From the Search list you can select the record to change or delete. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + r] Tip:  If you are building a new Past Due Service Parameter, New  displays near the Service ID.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  Title	Enter the title of the Past Due Service Parameter record. (up to 20 characters)
  Description	Enter the full description associated with the Past Due Service Parameter record. (up to 40 characters)
  Past Due Transaction Information
  Transaction Profile ID	Enter the billing Transaction Profile ID associated with the service that contains the transaction codes for generating the late charge transactions for the appropriate customers. (up to 12 characters) Notes:   To search for a billing Transaction Profile ID, click Search or press [CTRL + f]. To create a new billing Transaction Profile ID, click Fast Maintenance or press [CTRL + o].

   

• Editing a Past Due Service Parameter, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1.  To display the record to be changed, enter the Service ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].

  Tip:  If you do not know the Service ID, you can click Search  to see a list of Past Due Service Parameters.

  2.  Click the field to change and enter the data changes.

  3.  To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].

• Deleting a Past Due Service Parameter, click More.

   

  1.  To display the record to be deleted, enter the Service ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Tip:  If you do not know the Service ID, you can click Search  to see a list of Past Due Service Parameter records.

  2.  Click File from the Menu, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
