Service Call Entry - Overview

Use Service Call Entry to enter and maintain information regarding customer calls for service.  You can enter the service request by location or by customer and identify the tasks to be performed and the problems to be resolved.  You can specify and assign a technician who is experienced in the required job specialities and who is within the customer's territory.  In addition, you can print a work order to give to the technician who is performing the work.

Field Details by Section

Call Number Entry and Action Panel

Contains the field to retrieve the Call Number and the Action buttons to perform functions for the service call such as, dispatching or completing the service call.

Location Entry Area

Contains the field to retrieve the location of the service call.

Customer Entry and Demographics Area

Contains the fields to enter the Contact name and the customer associated with the service call.

General Service Call Information Area

Contains the fields to enter the general service call information.

Schedule Panel

Contains the fields to enter the person who received the call, the person assigning the call, and the technician dispatched to the call along with the dates and times.

Call Detail Entry Panel

Contains the fields to enter the call details for the service call.
