Model-Ration Utility

Use the Model-Ration Utility routine to maintain the records necessary when your utility rates change.  During this routine the information for each model rate table that you maintain will be copied to a corresponding rate table.  In addition to copying the model-rate tables, the values for the Model Minimum Charge and the Model Minimum Usage fields will update the Minimum Charge and the Minimum Usage fields for each applicable Transaction Code.

Notes:  

• You must enter the readings for all customers who should be billed entirely at the old rates before starting the Model-Ration Utility.

• If you want to pro-rate customer bills (charge customers a portion at the old rate and a portion at the new rate), see Pro-Ration Utility.

• You must maintain Model-rates during Model-Rate Table Maintenance and model minimum charge and model minimum usage for each transaction code in order to use Model-Ration Utility.

• Opening the Model-Ration Utility, click More.

  1.  Click Utilities from the Menu.

  2.  Click Model-Ration Utility.

• Choosing the Selections, click More.

   

  Model-Ration Utility Prompts Tip:  For more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To begin the Model-Ration Utility, click Proceed. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from this routine without beginning, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]
  	When the Model-Ration Utility successfully completes, this message displays: To close out of the routine, click Done. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + d] Note:  If the Model-Ration Utility does not complete, a message alerts you.
