Purge Receipt History Instructions
Use the Purge Receipt History routine to delete Tax Receipt and Treasurer's Receipt records from the Receipt History file (RCPTHIST) according to the specified Purge Date. You can also print the Purge Receipt History Report.
Notes:
The report is also known as the Receipt History Purge List.

IMPORTANT: Before running the purge routine, always perform
a system backup. |
To see directions for opening the Purge Receipt History program, click More.
Click History from the Menu Bar, and next click Purge Receipt History.
Or use the keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [t] [p]
At the prompt window, choose the selections. To see the prompt options, click More.

Print Purge List |
To print the Purge Receipt History Report, click this option. Note: If you specify this option, the purge routine does not run. |
Purge Receipts |
To start the purge routine, which deletes the history records, click this option. Note: If you specify this option, the Purge Receipt History Report does not print. |
Purge Date |
Enter the Purge Date. The report and the purge routine only select records with transaction dates on or before the Purge Date. (MM/DD/YYYY) |
Printer |
Displays the default printer number. For more information, see Printing Options. Note: This field appears only if you specified Print Purge List. |
To generate the report, click Print or press [ENTER] if the button is in focus. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p] Note: This button appears only if you specified Print Purge List. | |
To run the purge routine, click Purge or press [ENTER] if the button is in focus. Note: This button appears only if you specified Purge Receipts. | |
Important: Before running the purge, always run a system backup. | |
To escape from the print or purge routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] |
To see the report sample, click More.
To see descriptions of the report fields, click More.
Field Descriptions are not available at this time.
