Sign On
Sign on is an optional Invision™ feature managing module-level security that provides an additional security layer for logging onto the module. It can also restrict access to certain programs. After system security is implemented each user must sign on to gain access to programs and routines within the module.

Tips:
When you exit the application the software automatically signs off for you.
If your facility must be HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliant, you should implement Sign On security.
Do not confuse the Sign On Operator Number with the Log On User ID. You must enter the User ID to log onto the module. However, the Operator Number is not required by all facilities. Each user must have a unique User ID, however it is possible for users to share Operator Numbers.

Directions:
To
open Sign On, click File from
the Menu Bar and next click Sign
On.

Tip: Your
facility may be set up to automatically prompt for the Sign On when you
open the module.

To see directions for entering Sign On information, click More.

Enter your pre-defined Operator Number. (3.0 numeric) | |
Password |
Enter the password that corresponds to the operator number entered. Tip: The screen does not echo your entry. |
To verify the operator number and its respective password, click Sign In or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s] Tip: If you enter an incorrect operator number or password the following error message displays on the Status Bar: | |
To exit without signing on, click Cancel or press [ESC]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] |
After you have signed on successfully, the Sign On window closes and you can access authorized menus and programs protected by the security system.
