Electronic Registration Import Procedure

Follow these steps to import electronic vehicle registration information from the InforME system to the INVISION Motor Vehicle Registration system.

Note:  For additional information on importing motor vehicle data from the DMV (InforME), see INVISION Motor Vehicle Registration Electronic Registration Export Import Instructions.

1.  Run the Electronic Registration Import routine to create a work file of the vehicle registration information to be imported from the state to the Motor Vehicle Registration Workbench.

2.  Run the Electronic Registration Import Journal Instructions to list all of the rapid renewal receipt transactions that are in the Rapid Renewal Receipts import work file.

3.  Run the Electronic Registration Import Post to finalize the import and update the appropriate motor vehicle information.
