Certified Mailers Instructions
Use Certified Mailers to print names and addresses directly on form-fed certified mailers instead of printing Lien Labels or Tax Master Labels. You can specify whether to print mailers for Real Estate or Personal Property Tax Accounts, and you can select accounts within an alphabetical or Zip Code range.
Notes:
If you choose to print the mailers from the lien files, you must run the Certified Mailers after creating the files using Prepare Lien File.

Lien Work from the Menu
Bar, and next click Certified Mailers.
Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [l] [m]
At the prompt window, choose the selections. To see the prompt options, click More.

To determine the source of the data for the mailers, click one of the following options:

To determine the sort sequence of the mailers, click one of the following options.

Owner Name 1 Range |
To limit the printed mailers to Tax Accounts within a specific range of Owner Names, enter the full or partial Owner Name in the From and To fields. (up to 10 characters) Notes:

Zip Code Range |
To limit the printed mailers to Tax Accounts within a specific range of Zip Codes, enter the Zip Codes in the From and To fields. (up to 10 characters) Notes:

Print Map/Lot/Sub/Type and Tax Account |
To print the Property ID and Tax Account Number on the mailers, check the box. To omit the Property ID and Tax Account Number from the mailers, clear the box. Note: The Property ID does not print on mailers for Personal Property Tax Accounts. |
Printer |
Displays the default printer number. For more information, see Printing Options. |

To generate the report, click Print. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p] |

To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] |
At the print alignment prompt window, choose the selections. To see the prompt options, click More.
The alignment page prints XXXs to help you align the mailers on your printer. Line up the top row of XXXs where you want the Owner Name to print.
After the alignment page prints, the program displays the Print Test Alignment prompt again. You can reprint the alignment label as many times as necessary. Then you can print the labels by clicking No.
