Launching Windows

Similarly to other Windows™ applications, you can open multiple occurrences of selected windows on your screen.  This is a convenient way to compare and contrast information.

Note:  You can only launch multiple windows for the functions listed on the Launch Windows sub-menu.  The available options vary among modules.

• To open an additional window:

1. Click the Windows menu, and then click Launch Windows.
   Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [l]

2. At the sub-menu, click the name of one of the following programs that you want to display in another window:

• Tax Master
  Keyboard shortcuts:  [CTRL + t] or [CTRL + SHIFT + t] or [ALT] [w] [l] [t] or [ALT] [v] [t]

• Real Estate Lien
  Keyboard shortcuts:  [CTRL + r] or [CTRL + SHIFT + r] or [ALT] [w] [l] [r] or [ALT] [v] [r]

• Personal Property Lien
  Keyboard shortcuts:  [CTRL + p] or [CTRL + SHIFT + p] or [ALT] [w] [l] [p] or [ALT] [v] [p]

• To change how the windows are arranged on the screen:

1. Click the Windows menu.
   Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w]

2. Click one of the following display options:

3. Cascade - Step-like stack of windows
   Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [c]

4. Tile Vertically - Columns of windows
   Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [v]

5. Tile Horizontally - Rows of windows
   Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [w] [h]
