Employee File Maintenance Menu

The Employee File Maintenance menu is used to manage information related to employees.

Employee File Maintenance Menu Items

Employee Master

Maintain relatively permanent information about an employee, such as name, address, salary, and withholding information.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [e]

Employee Totals Master

View and maintain totals for time worked, withholding amounts, earnings, vacation time accruals, and sick time accruals.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [t]

Employee Quarterly Totals

View and maintain total earnings and withholding amounts for the current month and the four quarters of the current year.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [q]

Employee Monthly Totals

View and maintain total earnings and withholding amounts for any month within the current year.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [m]

Employee Weekly Totals

View and maintain total earnings and withholding amounts for all of the five pay periods within the current month.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [w]

Employee Fringe

Opens a menu for assigning defined Fringe Numbers for fringe benefits to an employee and optionally distribute the fringe amount to multiple departments.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [f]

Employee Labor Distribution

View and maintain existing labor distribution records.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [l]

Employee Overhead Distribution

View and maintain existing overhead distribution records.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [o]

Employee Master Scheduled Deductions

View and maintain the scheduled deductions assigned to an employee.

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [e] [s]

Tip:  This method is more convenient than using the Employee Scheduled Deductions Area in Employee Master Maintenance when you have to change deductions for several employees at once.

Employee Notes Fields

Creates user-defined fields that can be maintained during Employee Master Maintenance in the Notes Area.

Employee Human Resource Fields

create user-defined fields that can be maintained during Employee Master Maintenance in the Human Resources Area.
