Communications Menu Panel

The Communications Menu Panel is a small floating window containing menu selections similar to the Menu Bar and the Menu Tree, which you can use to run communications programs such as, the electronic billing routines. The Menu Panel allows you to quickly move between frequently used routines without having to enter repetitive key strokes to get there. In addition, with the Communications Menu Panel you can easily keep track of the step you last selected.

Notes:

You can drag the Communications Menu Panel to any location within INSight.
The menu items listed on the Menu Tree are determined by the Communications Setup Menu Maintenance.
Once you open the Communications Menu Panel it remains open until you close it.
Tip: To close the Communications Menu Panel, click Close .

Directions:

To open the Communication Menu Panel from the Menu Bar, click Billing Functions, next click Communications and then click Menu Panel.

File	Opens a menu of File routines. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [f]
File Maintenance	Opens a menu of file maintenance routines for electronic billing. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [m]
Communications Menu Tree Tips: To expand a level, which reveals the options within that level, click Plus . Example: To open the Medicare level, click Plus next to Medicare. To collapse a level, which hides the options within that level, click Minus . Example: To close the Medicare level, click Minus next to Medicare.
Professional Claims	Opens a menu of routines for billing professional insurance claims electronically.
Institutional Claims	Opens a menu of routines for billing institutional insurance claims electronically.
