Recall Letters Workfile Maintenance

Use Recall Letters Workfile Maintenance to remove patients from the Recall Letters Workfile if you do not want them to receive a recall letter pertaining to their recall appointment date.  In addition, after you have created the Recall Letters Workfile you can use this maintenance to print a simple list of the patients who are due to receive a recall letter by clicking Search.

• Opening Recall Letters Workfile Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Reports from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Patient Letters.

  3.  Click Recall Letters.

  4.  Click Workfile Maintenance.

• Creating a New Recall Letter Record, click More.

   

  Note:  You can not create any new patient recall letters workfile records.  The necessary records are created during the Recall Letters Create Workfile routine.

   

• Editing an Existing Recall Letter Record, click More.

   

  Note:  To maintain data integrity, you can not edit any patient recall letters workfile records.  You can only delete the workfile records.

   

• Deleting an Existing Recall Letter Record, click More.

   

  1.  To display the record to be deleted, enter the Workfile ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Tip:  If you do not know the Workfile ID, you can click Search  to see a list of Recall Letters Workfile records.

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
