How to Rebill Services
INSight offers three methods for you to rebill charges for services provided. The first method allows you to rebill a service during Payment Entry by applying a special transaction code to the charge ticket that indicates that the ticket is to be rebilled. With the second method you can use the Print Instant Forms routine to print an claim form and choose which tickets and services are to be rebilled for a specified patient account. The ticket information in this method comes from the Ticket file and does not affect the information in the billing workfile. With the third method for rebilling services you can use the Rebill Services program to globally rebill tickets for a specific Form type, service date ranges or billing date ranges. See below for the specific steps for each method.
Notes:
NDS recommends that you rebill services during Payment Entry by using a special transaction code as this method provides transaction history details.
