Print Instant Forms Instructions
Use the Print Instant Forms Instructions to print certain healthcare claim forms on demand. For example, if you need to attach a secondary claim form to another claim, use the Print Instant Forms Instructions to print the secondary claim. In addition, if you need to rebill a service you can do so by printing a claim using Print Instant Forms.
Notes:
The claim information that prints on the instant form comes from the Ticket file and does not affect the information in the billing workfile.
If you are printing an instant form to rebill a service, it is important to remember the tickets printed on the instant form are not included in the billing workfile during the next billing cycle. For more information, see How to Rebill Services.
If you print an instant claim form NDS recommends that you add a credit message to the charge ticket during Payment Entry. This will provide an audit trail to alert everyone as to the phase of billing the charge is in.
Generally, the ticket's Bill Date and Aging are not updated unless the ticket did not have a Bill Date already. If the ticket does not have a Bill Date the date the claim is printed is assigned as the ticket's Bill Date.
