Scheduling Batch Appointment Forms Enchanced Instructions

Follow the Print Appointment Forms Instructions in Scheduling to print forms such as the superbill (also called the encounter form) and lab labels.  The form layouts are tailored by NDS specifically for your practice.

• Opening the Batch Appointment Forms Enhanced prompt, click More.

   

  • Basic Method:

  1.  Load the patient into the Patient Reference Panel:

  2.  To launch the patient Search, enter the patient's full or partial last name in the Patient Account Number and press [ENTER].

  3.  In the Search list, double-click the appropriate line to select the patient.

  4.  Click Reports from the Menu Bar.

  5.  Click Patient Appointment Forms.

• Choosing the selections at the prompt window, click More.

   

  Print Appointment Forms Prompt Options Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Form Button	Click the button for the form that you want to print.  The buttons vary among practices.  The active button appears sunken and colored. Example:
  Encounter Number	The next Encounter Number displays.  If you are printing a superbill, you can change the Encounter Number, if applicable.  (7.0, numeric)
  Printer Number	Displays the default printer number.  For more information, see Printing Options.
  	To generate the form, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape from the print routine, click Cancel.

  To see an example of a superbill, click Encounter Form/Superbill Form Sample.

  To see an example of a lab label, click Lab Labels Sample.
