Field Description - Transaction Quantity

The Transaction Quantity is the amount of the item associated with the transaction.  The Transaction Type determines how the quantity will update the inventory item Commited, On Order or on hand amounts.  For example, a Transaction Type of receipt with a quantity of 20 will add 20 to the Inventory Item Location On Hand amount.
