Fixed Assets Location

Use Fixed Assets Location Maintenance to maintain descriptions for the locations in your organization.  The location descriptions maintained here can be used during Fixed Assets maintenance.

 

Directions:

 

1.  Click Fixed Assets from the Menu.

2.  Click Maintenance.

3.  Click Location.

Location

Enter a unique identifier for the Location and click Retrieve .  (up to 60 characters)

To display an existing location, enter the location and click Retrieve.

Or, to look for a location, click Search .  From the Search list you can select the record to change or delete.  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + r]

Tip:  To indicate that you are building a new location, New displays near the Location ID.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted for you to begin entering information.

To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER].

Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]

CAUTION

To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

Deleting a Location

 

1.  Enter the Location and click Retrieve .

Tip
:  To find the location, click Search .

2.  Click File from the Menu, and next click Delete.
Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Yes to delete the record, or click No to escape from the delete routine.
