Single Period Activity Report Instructions
Use the Single Period Activity Report to print the journal entries for a specific Period. You can optionally select a range of Account Numbers and limit the report to a specific Journal Code.

Tips:
This report is also known as the Activity Report.
This report is similar to the YTD Activity Report. However, the YTD Activity Report allows you to select a range of Periods and a range of Funds.

Opening the Single Period Activity Report, click More.
Basic Method:
1. Click Single Period Activity Report on the Toolbar.
Other Methods:
1. Click Reporting from the Menu Bar.
2. Click Single
Period Activity Report.
Tip: Or, use the keyboard

3. Or, click the following
sequence:
View from the Menu Bar; and then Single
Period Activity Report.

Note: You may also be able to access the General Ledger
menu while in another INVISION module. To activate the General Ledger
menu in another module, the G/L
Application Control must be set up for the module during installation.

To specify the Period for the journal entry transactions that you want to include in the report, click the Period in the drop-down list. (predefined) Required |

Current/History Year |
To specify the year to report the period, click a choice in the drop-down list. |
Enter the first line of optional text that you want to appear at the top of the report. Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. |

Enter the second line of optional text that you want to appear at the top of the report. (up to 30 characters) Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. |

Enter the third line of optional text that you want to appear at the top of the report. Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. |

Double Line Display |
To add a blank line between lines, click to check the Double Line Display box. Or, to omit a blank line between printed lines, leave this box unchecked. |
Add a line between subtotal Entries |
To add a blank line between subtotal entries, click to check Add a line between subtotal Entries box. Or, to omit a blank line between subtotal entries, leave this box unchecked. |
To limit the report to a range of Account Elements, click Element Range. Note: You will see the Element Range Prompt, which is described below. |

To limit the report to a range of Account Numbers, enter the from and to Account Numbers (inclusive). (format varies) Tip: To select all accounts, leave blank. |
To limit the report to a specific Journal Code, enter a valid Journal Code. (up to two characters, predefined) Tip: To select all Journal Codes, leave blank. |

Subtotal by Element |
To include a subtotal for each element, click to check the Subtotal by Element box. To omit a subtotal for each element, leave this box blank. |
Sort by Fund |
To sort the report information by fund, click to check the Sort by Fund box. To omit sorting by Fund, leave this box blank. |
Subtotal by Fund |
To include a subtotal for each fund, click to check the Subtotal by Fund box. To imit a subtotal for each fund, leave this box blank. |
Exclude Inactive Accounts |
To omit accounts with an Inactive Account Status from the report, click to check the Exclude Inactive Accounts box. Or, to include accounts with an Inactive Account Status, leave this box blank. |
To begin printing to the Windows® default printer, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p] |

To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + c] |

Element Range Prompt Tip: This prompt displays a list of the Elements defined for the Account Number. The list of elements varies according to the settings for each facility. You can select accounts to print on the report by entering ranges of Elements. |
