YTD Activity Report Instructions
Use the YTD (Year-To-Date) Activity Report to print the journal entries for a range of Periods within a selected Fiscal Year. You can optionally select a range of Account Numbers or Funds and limit the report to a specific Journal Code.
Tips:
This report is also known as the Activity Report.
A copy of the report is saved to report history for a complete audit trail.
This report is similar to the Single Period Activity Report. However, the YTD Activity Report allows you to select a range of Periods and a range of Funds.

Directions:
To open click Reporting
from the Menu and then click
YTD Activity Report.
Tip: Or, use the keyboard
shortcut: [ALT] [r] [a].
Note: You may also be able to access the General Ledger menu while in another INVISION application. To activate the General Ledger menu in another application, the G/L Application Control must be set up for the application during installation.

To limit the report to a range of Periods (inclusive), click to select the Periods in the drop-down list. (predefined) Required |

Current/History Year |
To specify the year for which to report the activity, click a choice in the drop-down list. |
To limit the report to a range of GL Account Funds, click to select the desired Funds in the list. Tip: To report all Funds, select All Funds. |

Enter the first line of optional text that you want to appear at the top of the report. You can enter up to 4 lines for the heading, as desired. Unused heading lines please leave blank. Tip: The report automatically centers the text for you. |

Account or Element Range |

Account Element |
To limit the report to a range of GL Accounts, select the Account option. Or limit the report to a range of Account Elements, click Element. You will see the Element Range Prompt, as shown here. You can select accounts to print on the report by entering ranges of Elements. Note: The list of elements varies according to the settings for each facility. Account Range |
To limit the report to a range of Account Numbers, enter the from and to Account Numbers (inclusive). (format varies) Tip: To select all accounts, leave blank. |

To select accounts by Element to be included in the report, enter the from and to values for each applicable Element. (format varies) |
Include |
To limit the report to specific Journal Codes, select the desired journal codes in the list. Tip: To select all Journal Codes, select All Journal Codes. |
Print Accounts with no activity |
To include accounts with no activity on the report, click to check the Print Accounts with No Activity box. Or, to omit accounts with activity, leave this box blank. |
New Page for each account |
To start a new page for each account, check the New Page for each account box. To print accounts on the same page, leave this box blank. |
Exclude Inactive Accounts |
To omit accounts with an Inactive Account Status from the report, click to check the Exclude Inactive Accounts box. Or, to include accounts with an Inactive Account Status, leave this box blank. |
Sort by Fund |
To sort the report information by fund, click to check the Sort by Fund box. To omit sorting by Fund, leave this box blank. |
Subtotal by Fund |
To include a subtotal for each fund, click to check the Subtotal by Fund box. To omit a subtotal for each fund, leave this box blank. This option is only available if sort by fund is selected. |
Subtotal by Element |
To include a subtotal for each element, click to check the Subtotal by Element box. To omit a subtotal for each element, leave this box blank. This option is only active if an element range is selected. |
Export Only |
To export the report information, check the Export Only box. To omit exporting the report information, leave the Export Only box unchecked. |
Account # Export Format |
If you are exporting the report information, select if the GL Account numbers should be exported as a formatted number or unformatted number. |
To begin generating the report, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + p] To
