XML Consumption Letter Instructions

Use the XML Consumption Letter Instructions to generate consumption letters or notices for the customers in the Extract Consumption workfile.

Tips:  

• Before running the Consumption Letters, you must run the Extract Consumption routine to build the workfile that contains the customers to receive a consumption letter or notice.

• This routine uses the information in the Extract Consumption workfile to generate data in an XML format and sends it to a job site file that you specify.

• During installation, the letter format and the job site file (job to the print file) are defined using your specifications.  For more information, contact NDS Technical Support.

• For more information about running reports, see Print View.

• Opening the XML Consumption Letter, click More.

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Billing.

  3.  Click Reading Tools.

  4.  Click XML Consumption Letter.

• Choosing the selections at the prompt window, click More.

  XML Consumption Letter Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To begin printing to the Windows™ default printer, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To print to the Print View screen, click Print View.
  	To escape from the print routine, click Cancel, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]

   

• Report Samples, click More.
