Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts

Use the Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts routine to transfer the Next Day cash receipt transactions from the Next Day cash receipts transaction file to the Daily cash receipts transaction file.  When the Transfer is complete, you can run the Cash Receipts Edit Journal to verify that the Next Day receipts have been moved over.

 Important:  Generally, the Next Day cash receipts are automatically transferred during the Cash Receipts Post.  However, you can choose to set up Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts to run as a separate function from the Cash Receipts Post.  For more information, contact NDS Technical Support.

• Opening the Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts Routine, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Cash Receipts.

  3.  Click Utilities.

  4.  Click Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [c] [u] [t].

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts Prompt Options Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Services	To select the services to transfer, click to check the appropriate services listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all services listed, click the Check All icon .
  Companies	To select the companies to transfer, click to check the appropriate companies listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all companies listed, click the  Check All icon .
  Finance Periods	To select the finance periods to transfer, click to check the appropriate finance periods listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all finance periods listed, click the  Check All icon .
  Clerks	To select the clerks to transfer, click to check the appropriate Clerk IDs listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all clerks listed, click the Check All icon .
  Batches	To select the batches to transfer, click to check the appropriate batches listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all batches listed, click the  Check All icon .
  	To start the Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts routine, click Proceed. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape without performing the Transfer, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]
  	When the Transfer Next Day Cash Receipts routine is complete, Done displays. To close out of the window, click Done. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT +d] Note:  Done displays when the routine is completed.
