Field Description - Customer Status
The Customer Status describes the customer account's billing status. The predefined Customer Status sometimes determines how billing for the customer is handled.
Available Customer Statuses:
0 - Active - The account is available for billing.
1 - Open Activity - The account is not being billed, but finance charges are assessed for any remaining account balance and collections for the remaining balance are being processed.
2 - In Final - The account's final bill is being processed.
3 - Not Active - The account is not active, is not available for billing, posting payments, nor correspondence.
4 - Bankrupt - The account is bankrupt. A message displays during Cash Receipt Entry to alert you.
5 - Foreclosed - The account is foreclosed. This Status is informational only. You can use a Transaction Code to set a customer's Status to Foreclosed.
6 - Collection - The account is sent to collection. This Status is informational only. You can use a Transaction Code to set a customer's Status to collection.
7 - Bad Debt - The account is considered bad debt. This Status is informational only. You can use a Transaction Code to set a customer's Status to bad debt.
8 - Tax Roll - The account is sent
to Tax Roll. This Status is informational only.

9 - On Hold - The account is put on hold. This Status is informational only.
10 - System - The account is a system account such as, a miscellaneous A/R account or a miscellaneous cash account. This Status is informational only.
