Billing Winter Quarter Table Maintenance

Use the Billing Winter Quarter Table Maintenance to maintain parameters used to make seasonal billing adjustments for customers who have non-metered connections.  Customers being billed for sewer usage, can be set to use the Winter Quarter information to determine their sewer usage and charges.  

Notes:  

• Do not confuse the Billing Winter Quarter Table with Winter Quarter Maintenance.  They are two separate maintenance routines and have separate functions.

• Opening Billing Winter Quarter Table, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Table Maintenance.

  4.  Click Billing Tables.

  5.  Click Billing Winter Quarter Table.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [t] [b] [w].

• Creating a new Billing Winter Quarter Table, click More.

   

  Tip:  To indicate that you are building a new Winter Quarter table, New  displays near Winter.  Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.

  Billing Winter Quarter Table Maintenance Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	To view all of the existing Billing Winter Quarter Tables, click Search.  From the Search list you can select the record to change or delete. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + r]
  	To display the existing Billing Winter Quarter Table, click Retrieve, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Winter Quarter 1 MMYY	Enter the month and year for the winter quarter one. (mmyy)
  Winter Quarter 2 MMYY	Enter the month and year for the winter quarter two. (mmyy)

   

• Editing an existing Billing Winter Quarter Table, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  2.  Enter the data changes.

  3.  To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]

   

• Deleting an existing Billing Winter Quarter Table, click More.

   

  1.  The record to be deleted, automatically displays.

  2.  Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
  Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [f] [d]

  3.  At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.
