The File menu contains commands used to manage the module files by saving, deleting or creating new records. In addition to file management commands, features like Print View and routines that affect the overall performance and appearance of the module are on this menu.
To open the File menu from the Menu Bar, click File.

Allows a new record to be entered in the window currently open. |

Deletes the displayed record from the appropriate file. |

Saves the displayed record to the appropriate file. |

Allows users to lock their PC to prevent unauthorized use by other people. Operator Lock is a feature of system security for Health Insurance and Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliancy. |

Allows users to sign on to access programs within the module. This is a function of system security. |

Opens a menu of routines for module settings including printers, printing, appearance, styles and functionality of some routines. |

Closes the module. |
