Backflow Testing Post

Use the Backflow Testing Post routine to update the Backflow Masters with the information from the Backflow testing workfile records.  For each Backflow that is tested the  Last Test Date is updated from the workfile Test Date and Test Status is updated as well.  In addition, the Backflow Testing history is created for the Backflow devices that have been tested.

Notes:

• Prior to beginning the Post routine make sure you have updated the Backflow Testing workfile records with the Test Date and Test Status.

• The Backflow Testing Post performs the following for each backflow device that was tested:

• The Last Test Date field is updated from the workfile Test Date and Test Status field are updated.

• Generates the Backflow testing history.

• You can view the updated Backflow device during the Service Connections Area of the Customer Inquiry.

• Opening the Backflow Testing Post Routine, click More.

   

  1.  Click Processes from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click Backflow Testing.

  3.  Click Post.

• Choosing the Selections at the Prompt Window, click More.

   

  Backflow Testing Post Routine Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To start the Backflow Testing Post Routine, click Proceed or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p]
  	To escape without performing the Backflow Testing Post Routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT +c]
  Status	Displays information pertaining to the various phases of the Backflow Testing Post process to guide you. Note:  The status displays Complete when the process is ended.  In addition, the Message window displays Process Ended and 100% to alert you when the routine is complete.
  	To close the Post program when Complete displays and the routine is finished, click Close .
