Liens Create Notice Cost Transactions
Use the Liens Create Notice Cost Transactions routine to create the 30-day notice cost transactions for the customers who will receive a 30-day notice about their delinquent balance. The cost transactions include the costs associated with processing and sending the 30-day notices and can include the cost of the certified mailers and postage. The 30-day notices are used to alert customers that their delinquent balance will be sent to lien if they do not send a payment within thirty days. The notice cost amounts are generally included on each 30-day notice.
Tips:
The Transaction Code for generating the 30-day notice cost transactions and the 30-day Notice Cost Amount are set during Liens Parameter Maintenance.
The 30-day notice cost transactions do not update the customers' balances until you perform the Liens Post Transactions routine.
For the sequence and timing of the liens routines, see the Liens Procedure.
