Import Floating Menu

The Import Floating Menu is a small floating window containing menu selections similar to the Menu Bar, which you can use to run import programs such as, the rapid renewal import routines. The Import Floating Menu allows you to quickly move between frequently used routines without having to enter repetitive key strokes to get there. In addition, with the Import Floating Menu you can easily keep track of the last step you selected.

Notes:

You can drag the Import Floating Menu to any location within Motor Vehicle Registration Workbench.
Once you open the Import Floating Menu it remains open until you close it.
Tip: To close the Import Floating Menu, click Close .

Directions:

To open the Import Floating Menu from the Menu Bar, click Tools, next click Import and then click Import Floating Menu.

Import Floating Menu Items Tips: To quickly start a task when the Import Floating Menu is open, simply click the appropriate menu selection. To expand a folder, which reveals the options within that folder, click Plus . Example: To open the Electronic Registration folder, click Plus next to Electronic Registration. To collapse a folder, which hides the options within that folder, click Minus . Example: To close the Electronic Registration folder, click Minus next to Electronic Registration.
Electronic Registration
Import	Imports the electronic registration information from the state to the electronic registration import work file.
Journal	Lists the transactions in the import work file that have been transmitted from the state's system.
Post	Updates the appropriate motor vehicle registration files with the electronic registration information that is newer than the information on Motor Vehicle Registration Workbench.
Rapid Renewal
Import	Builds the rapid renewal receipts import work file with information transmitted from the InforME Rapid Renewal system.
Journal	Lists all the rapid renewal motor vehicle registrations in the work file.
Post	Updates the motor vehicle registration transaction file with the rapid renewal transactions.
Menu Bar Items
File	Opens a menu of File routines. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [f]
File Maintenance	Opens a menu of file maintenance routines for maintaining the import files. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [m]
