Labor Distribution Master Maintenance
Use Labor Distribution Maintenance to display the totals for a department's pay distribution. You can see the regular time totals, overtime time totals, and gross earnings totals for the current pay period, month, quarter, and year. You can also specify any department numbers to be excluded from overhead distribution (referred to as exceptions).
CAUTION If you edit Labor Distribution totals fields, NDS strongly recommends that you manually note the changes so you can reconcile the values later.

Tips:
Labor Distribution is active only if the Labor Distribution Table (PRLABOR) table exists. If Labor Distribution is not active, this option will not appear on the menu.
The PRLABOR table defines which General Ledger Account Numbers cause page breaks in the Labor Distribution Master Report.
The Payroll Post process creates and maintains labor distribution records, so normally you do not need to add or delete records.
You can assign the labor distribution percent to multiple departments during Employee Master Maintenance in the Employee Pay Distribution Area.
For more information about labor distribution, see the Understanding Labor Distribution topic.
For more information about working with data in fields, see Data Entry Guidelines.
