The Charge Batch Type determines which group of batch preferences and parameters you use during the Charge Entry Batch Entry Window and the Work Window . You can maintain different batch parameters for each type of batch you have.

Common Charge Batch Types:
OFFICE - Disables the hospital admission and discharge dates.
HOSPITAL - Enables the hospital admission and discharge dates.
FULL - Enable all fields, which is useful for training.
Note: You can maintain the Charge Batch Type during Charge Entry at the Batch Entry Window.
