Field Description - Direct Deposit Lead Days
The Direct Deposit Lead Days is the number of days by which the transmission of the electronic direct deposit file must precede the effective date of deposit. These lead days give the bank a buffer of time for processing the direct deposits. This field is used for edits to ensure that you correctly enter the Direct Deposit Transmission Date and the Direct Deposit Effective Date, when prompted.
Example: To specify a lead time of two days, enter 2.
