Patient Entry - Workers' Compensation Window
Use the Patient Entry - Workers' Compensation Window to view and maintain information relating to the patient's workers' compensation claims.

Opening the Patient Entry - Workers' Compensation Window, click More.
Enter the Account Number.
Click Workers' Compensation in the Menu Tree.
Tip: For details about loading patients and opening windows, refer to the Patient Reference Panel topic.

Enter the start date of the patient's partial disability, if applicable. (mm/dd/yyyy) |

Enter the ending date of the patient's partial disability. (mm/dd/yyyy) |

Enter the starting date of the patient's total disability, if applicable. (mm/dd/yyyy) |

Enter the ending date of the patient's total disability, if applicable. (mm/dd/yyyy) |

Enter the date of the last consultation the patient had with the provider. (mm/dd/yyyy) |

Enter the patient's latest prior authorization number, if applicable. (up to 15 characters) Note: If a ticket (charge) requires prior authorization and a prior authorization number has not been assigned during Prior Authorization Maintenance, INSight uses the Prior Approval Number as the prior authorization number. |

Enter the patient's branch of military service, if applicable. (up to 10 characters) |

Enter the patient's military status, if applicable. Common Military Status Codes:

Editing a patient's workers' compensation information, click More.
CAUTION! If you forget to click Save, you may lose your changes.
To
display the record to be changed, enter the patient
Account Number and click Patient
Load or press [ENTER] if the button is
in focus.
Tip: If you do not know the Patient
Account, you can click Search to see a list of patients.

To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
Enter the data changes.
To
complete the edit process, click Save
or press [ENTER] if
the button is in focus.
