The Appointment Icons are visual symbols that indicate information about appointments in Scheduling.
Icons:
Forced Appointment Icon: Appears next to any patient whose appointment was scheduled at the Force Appointment Window. This applies to double-booking and triple-booking appointment time slots.
Override Appointment Icon: Appears next to any patient whose appointment was scheduled at the Override Appointment Window. This applies to appointments booked in time slots with an appointment type that does not normally allow for patient office visits, such as for meetings.
Note: The Appointment Override Window appears if the appointment meets any of the following conditions:
The Appointment Type ID of the appointment does not match the Appointment Type of the time slot. Or, the Appointment Type is not contained in the Appointment Category or the Appointment Set associated with the time slot.
Or, the appointment will exceed the Number of Visits Scheduled for the associated referral.
Or, the appointment will exceed the Number of Visits Authorized for the associated referral.
Or, the provider has inadequate insurance coverage.
Or, the provider has expired insurance coverage.
Or, the provider has an expired state license.
Rescheduled Appointment Icon: Appears next to any patient whose appointment was scheduled at the Reschedule Appointment Window.
Note: The icons must be activated during INSight Scheduling PARAM Maintenance.
