Preferences - Overview

Use Preferences to customize features in INSight including the Search method, page width of reports, settings for patient information, and scheduling preferences.

Opening Preferences, click More.
- Click Preferences on the INSight Toolbar.
- Or, click the following sequence:
  File from the Menu Bar; Settings; Client Options; Preferences.
- Or, use the keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [f] [e] [c] [p].
Preferences Window Example:
Editing the Preferences, click More.
CAUTION: To avoid losing data, you must click OK or Apply.
1. Open the Preferences window.
1. Click one of the following tabs for the area of preferences you want to maintain:

3. User Preferences
4. User Scheduling Preferences
1. To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
2. Enter the data changes.
3. To complete the edit process, click OK .
  Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + o]
Understanding the field values for the following areas, click the section name in the table below:

Field Details by Section
Application Preferences	Contains parameters such as the images location, report width, and the Search method.
User Preferences	Contains parameters for patient information processing.
User Scheduling Preferences	Contains parameters that control the look and feel of Scheduling.
