Customer Inquiry - Customer Information Panel

Use the Information Panel to view customer name and address information as well as, customer notes, their ACH Receipt settings and their Web information, if applicable.  The table following the window example describes the Information Panel for the Customer Inquiry.

Tip:  For more information about working with data in fields, see the Data Entry Guidelines.

Directions:

To display the Information Panel:

  1. At the Inquire By prompt in the Customer Inquiry, click Customer in the drop-down list.

  2. Press [TAB] to move to the Customer prompt, and then enter a valid Customer ID.

    Tip:
     To inquire by Location, Inventory Number or Street Index instead of by Customer ID, choose the desired Inquire By option and then enter the appropriate Location ID, Inventory Item Number or Location Street ID.

  3. Click Information on the Customer Panel Toolbar of the Customer Inquiry - Toolbars.

Information Panel Field Descriptions

Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.

Second Account

Displays a second Customer ID associated with the customer, if applicable.

Name

Displays the customer's First Name, Middle Initial and Last Name.

Care of

Displays the customer's Care of First Name, Middle Initial and Last name, if applicable.

Address Line 1

Displays the first line of the customer's mailing address.

Address Line 2

Displays the second line of the customer's mailing address, if applicable.

Address Line 3

Displays the third line of the customer's mailing address, if applicable.

City, ST, Zip

Displays the City or Town Name, State and Zip Code portion of the customer's mailing address.

Delivery Point

Displays the customer's postal address Delivery Point, if applicable.

Phone Number 1

Displays the combined three-digit area code and the seven-digit contact Phone Number.

Phone Number 2

Displays the combined three-digit area code and the seven-digit Telephone Number for a second contact phone number, if applicable.

Phone Number 3

Displays the combined three-digit area code and the seven-digit Telephone Number for a third contact phone number, if applicable.

Social Security #

Displays the customer's social security number.

Driver's License

Displays the customer's driver's license number.

Note 1

Displays the notes pertaining to the customer, if applicable.

Note 2

Displays the second line of notes pertaining to the customer, if applicable.

Creation Date

Displays the date the customer's account was created.

Last Changed

Displays the date the customer's account was edited during the Edit Customer Demographics Wizard.

Messages

Code 1

Displays the first Message Code associated with the customer, if applicable.

Code 2

Displays the second Message Code associated with the customer, if applicable.

Code 3

Displays the third Message Code associated with the customer, if applicable.

Web

e-Mail

Displays the customer's e-mail address, if applicable.

HTTP Link

Displays the HTTP Address associated with the customer, if applicable.

Allow Download

Displays the customer's Allow Web Download setting.

Login

Displays the customer's Web Login password, if applicable.

Effective Date

Displays the customer's Web Login Effective Date, if applicable.

ACH

Note:  The following fields pertain to ACH (Automated Clearing House) Receipt processing for the customer.  For more information, see ACH Receipts processing.

ACH Status

Displays the customer's current status of their ACH Receipt processing.

Bank

Displays the Bank Code ID of the bank assigned to process the customer's ACH Receipts.

Account

Displays the customer's Bank Account Number used for processing the customer's ACH Receipts.

Miscellaneous

Courtesy Stmt

Displays the customer's courtesy statement setting.

Tip:  If Courtesy Statement is set to yes, courtesy statements print for the customer.  If Courtesy Statement is set to no, courtesy statements do not print for the customer.
