Edit Customer Information Wizard

Use the Edit Customer Information Wizard to edit customer information including the customer name and addresses including their billing address.

Tip:  For general information about using wizards, see the Wizard - Introduction.

• Opening the Edit Customer Information Wizard, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Wizard Maintenance.

  4.  Click Customer.

  5.  Click Customer Information.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [w] [ENTER] [s].

   

  Note:  To see an example of the Edit Customer Information Wizard, see Create Customer Step 2 Window.

   

• Creating a New Customer, click More.

   

    Note:  This wizard only maintains existing Customer Name and Address Information.  To create Customer Information, use the Create Customer Wizard.

   

• Editing an Existing Customer, click More.

   

   IMPORTANT:  To avoid losing data, the wizard automatically validates and saves your data when you click Finish .

  1.  Open the Edit Customer Information Wizard.  The first step displays in the Data Entry Panel.

  2.  To load the Customer, enter the Customer ID in the Data Entry Panel.
  Tip:  To Search for a Customer, click Search .

  3.  To navigate to the step that you want to maintain, click the name of the step in the Steps Area,
  Or, click Next  or click Back  until the correct step displays.

  4.  To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  5.  Enter the data changes.

  6.  If there are any other steps requiring changes, navigate to the proper step and make the changes.

  7.  To finish entry and save the changes, click Finish , or press [ENTER].

• Deleting an Existing Customer, click More.

   

    Note:  This wizard only maintains customer information.  To delete customers, use the Remove Customer Wizard.
