Customer Inquiry - Customer Transaction Summary Panel

Use the Customer Transaction Summary Panel to view a history summary of the customer's billing transactions.  The table following the window example describes the Customer Transaction Summary Panel for the Customer Inquiry.

To display the Customer Transaction Summary Panel in the Customer Inquiry:

  1. The Customer Inquiry window automatically opens when Utility Billing is launched.  
    Tip:  
    To display the Customer Inquiry after starting other windows, click Customer Inquiry on the Edifice Toolbar.

  2. At the Inquire By prompt, click Customer in the drop-down list.

  3. Press [TAB] to move to the Customer prompt, and then enter a valid Customer ID.

  4. Click Transaction Summary on the Customer Panel Toolbar.

Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.

Transaction Summary Lines

Date

Displays the date of the history transaction summary.

Code

Displays the Transaction Code used to generate the history transaction.

Usage

Displays the amount of Usage billed for the history transaction.

Prior Date

Displays the date of the customer's Prior Reading for the history transaction.

Present Date

Displays the date of the customer's Present Reading for the history transaction.

Amount

Displays the billing amount for the history transaction.

Total

Displays a total of the customer's history transaction summary amounts.

Additional Detail Lines

To view additional transaction summary details, click Plus.

Tip:  Or, to hide the additional details, click Minus .

Reading

Displays the meter reading amount for the history transaction.

Company

Displays the Company ID for the history transaction.

Actual Usage

Displays the Actual Usage for the history transaction.

Tip:  Demand type meters require Actual Usage for billing purposes.
