Category Table Maintenance
Use Category Table Maintenance to group transaction codes or charges. For example, you can assign all of your energy charges to a Category Table and all of your delivery charges to a different Category Table. After you create the Category Table, you assign it to transaction codes during Transaction Code Maintenance. Category Tables are used during the Meter Communications routines and for printing statements.

Generally, Category Tables are set up by NDS prior to installation. For more information, contact NDS Technical Support.
Generally, Category Tables are required if NDS or another third-party is printing customer statements.
