Meter Import Reading Multiplier Maintenance

1. Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

2. Click File Maintenance.

3. Click Code Maintenance.

4. Click Meter File Maintenance.

5. Click Meter Import Reading Multiplier Maintenance.

To create a new record choose one of these methods:

Enter the new Reading Multiplier ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].
Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + t]
Or, enter the new Reading Multiplier ID and click File from the Menu Bar; next click New.
Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [f] [n]

Tip: To indicate that you are building a new meter import reading multiplier, New displays near the Reading Multiplier ID. Default entries display and the first field is highlighted to let you know you can begin entering information.

Meter Import Reading Multiplier Maintenance Prompts Tip: To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
Reading Multiplier ID	Enter the unique identifier that is used to recall and store the reading multiplier information. (up to 5 characters) Required
	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + s]
	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
	To view all of the existing meter import multipliers, click Search. From the Search list you can select the record to change or delete. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + r]
	To display an existing meter import reading multipliers, enter the Reading Multiplier ID and click Retrieve, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut: [ALT + t]
Title	Enter the title of this reading multiplier. (up to 20 characters)
Description	Enter the full description of the reading multiplier. (up to 40 characters)
Multiplier	Enter the amount that the reading needs to be multiplied by to become a standardized reading unit. (5.3 numeric)

CAUTION: To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

To display the record to be changed, enter the Meter Import Reading Multiplier ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].

Tip: If you do not know the Meter Import Reading Multiplier ID, you can click Search to see a list of meter import multipliers.
To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
Enter the data changes.
To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].

To display the record to be deleted, enter the Meter Import Reading Multiplier ID and click Retrieve , or press [ENTER].

Tip: If you do not know the Meter Import Reading Multiplier ID, you can click Search to see a list of meter import reading multipliers.

Click File from the Menu Bar, and next click Delete.
Keyboard shortcut: [ALT] [f] [d]
At the Delete Records prompt, click Proceed to delete the record, or click Cancel to escape from the delete routine.

Use Meter Import Reading Multiplier Maintenance to maintain various multipliers that allow different reading units to be converted to a standard unit of measure. For example, you may have some readings where a reading unit is 100 and some readings where a reading unit is 1000. To obtain a standardized reading unit, you can assign a reading multiplier. You assign a Reading Multiplier to a service connection during the Create Service Connection Wizard or during the service connection steps of the Create Customer wizard.
