Billing Company Information Table Maintenance

Use Billing Company Information Table Maintenance to maintain the company name and address that displays on the main menu and that prints on journals and reports and that may print on customer statements depending on your settings.  

Notes:  

• Do not confuse the Billing Company Information Table or the Company Table with companies maintained during Company Maintenance.  They are three separate functions.

• Generally, the Billing Company information Table is set prior to installation.  Once this information is set, you do not need to change it under normal operating conditions.

• This table is sometimes referred to as the UBCONAME table.

• Opening Billing Company Information Table Maintenance, click More.

   

  1.  Click Daily Work from the Menu Bar.

  2.  Click File Maintenance.

  3.  Click Table Maintenance.

  4.  Click Billing Tables.

  5.  Click Billing Company Information Table.
  
  Tip:  Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [y] [m] [t] [b] [n].

• Creating a new Billing Company Information Table, click  More.

  Tip:  To indicate that you are building a new Billing Company Information Table, New  displays near UBCONAME table name.

  Billing Company Information Table Maintenance Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  	To update the new or changed information, click Save or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]
  	CAUTION To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.
  	The Search function is not available during Billing Company Information Table Maintenance.
  	To display an existing Billing Company Information Table, click Retrieve, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + t]
  Title	Enter the title of the Billing Company Information Table. (up to 14 characters)
  Description	Enter the full description of this table. (up to 79 characters)
  Company Information line 1	Enter the company name. (up to 38 characters)
  Company Information line 2	Enter the company address. (up to 38 characters)
  Company Information line 3	Enter the company address, if applicable. (up to 38 characters)
  Company Information line 4	Enter the company address, if applicable. (up to 38 characters)

   

• Editing an existing Billing Company Information Table, click More.

   

  CAUTION:  To avoid losing data, you must save new or changed records.

  1. To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.

  2. Enter the data changes.

  3. To complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].
     Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + s]

   

• Deleting an existing Billing Company Information Table, click More.

   

  Note:  The Delete Command is not available for Billing Company Information Table Maintenance.
