Liens XML Lien Letter

Use the Liens XML Lien Letter routine to print lien notices for the customers that have seriously delinquent balance amounts for the aging period specified.  Edifice updates the customer's lien letter tracking each time a letter is printed.  For more information, see the Credit Messages Panel of the Customer Inquiry.

Tips:  

• For the sequence and timing of the liens routines, see the Liens Procedure.

• This routine uses the information in the Liens Workfile to generate data in an XML format and sends it to a job site file that you specify.

• During installation, the letter format and the job site file (job to the print file) are defined using your specifications.  For more information, contact NDS Technical Support.

  • Click the following sequence:  Processes from the Menu Bar, Liens, and XML Lien Letter.

  • Or, use the keyboard shortcut:  [ALT] [p] [s] [x] [ARROW DOWN] [ENTER].

• Choosing the selections at the prompt window, click More.

   

  Liens XML Lien Letter Prompts Tip:  To see more information about a field, click the hyperlink for the field name.
  Services	To select the services to print, click to check the appropriate services listed. Tip:  To quickly select or de-select all services listed, click Check All . Note:  The Lien Parameter record can limit the services that print.
  Message Lines 1 - 5	Enter up to five lines of text to print on the lien notices, if applicable. (up to 42 characters each line)
  	To begin printing to the Windows™ default printer, click Print, or press [ENTER]. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + p] Important:  Be sure to select the printer (job site file) that is set up for printing the lien letters.
  	To print to the Print View screen, click here.
  	To escape from the print routine, click Cancel. Keyboard shortcut:  [ALT + c]
