The Electronic Registration Import menu contains commands used to import electronic vehicle registration information from the state to your system. The import process brings in the vehicle registration information from the state and compares it with each registration in the Motor Vehicle Registration Workbench. In general, each registration on your system that is older than the state's is updated. Each registration on your system that is newer than the registration from the state is not updated.
Notes:
The electronic registration import routines are separate routines from the Rapid Renewal import routines. Each routine imports different information to your system.
You may find it handy to launch the Import Floating Menu to quickly and easily select the import routines.
For information on the timing and sequence of tasks, see Electronic Registration Import Procedure.
