Direct Deposit Days Table Maintenance (DD-DAYS)
Use Direct Deposit Days Table Maintenance to maintain the number of days by which the transmission of the electronic direct deposit file must precede the effective date of deposit. These lead days give the bank a buffer of time for processing the direct deposits.

This table controls the number of lead days (usually two) to give the bank time to process the direct deposits. During the Payroll Run...
When you run Permanent Pay Transfer or enter payroll checks during the pay period for the first time, you must enter the Direct Deposit Transmission Date, which is the day you plan to transmit the direct deposit information to the bank. The Transmission Date must be a predetermined number of lead daysbefore the Direct Deposit Effective Date.
When you Build the Direct Deposit Work File, the Direct Deposit Effective Date must be a predetermined number of days after the Direct Deposit Transmission Date.
When you run Update Prenote Codes or Update Prenote Dates, the Transmission Date, usually today's date, must be a predetermined number of lead days before the Direct Deposit Effective Date.

Click Payroll from the Menu Bar.
Click Miscellaneous File Maintenance.
Click Table FM.
Click Numeric Tables.
Click
Direct Deposit Days (DD-DAYS).

Note: You can not create any new Direct Deposit Days Tables. The necessary table is created during the software installation and updates. To maintain the table, see the instructions for editing later in this topic.
Editing the Direct Deposit Days Table, click More.
CAUTION: To avoid losing data, you must save the changed record.
To display the record to be changed, simply open Direct Deposit Days Table Maintenance. The record automatically displays.
To position the pointer to the information that you want to change, press [TAB] or click the field using the mouse.
Enter the data changes.
To
complete the edit process, click Save , or press [ENTER].
